Urban Innovation Fellowship

Our Executive Director, Chris Spahr, was selected as a Drexel University Urban Innovation Fellow which recognizes his extraordinary work  to solve critical urban challenges. The CDC’s work around implementing a community development model based on locally producing solar energy and selling it to West Philadelphia businesses and institutions has gained much attention. With the support of intellectual resources from Drexel’s 15 schools and colleges, this vision continues to gain momentum.
